Public Deploy of Test Network Nodes has been Through the First Phase; 21 Quality Nodes are Selected
Since the 30th of Nov., we have started the first phase of the test network Gladios, in which public deployment of test network nodes is released. Subsequently, we received an immediate response from a global community of Ares Protocol.
While the activity was running, we selected 21 quality nodes that performed according to the tutorial and kept the whole day of operation. Those nodes are located in more than 9 countries such as China, Vietnam, Singapore, Korea, Sweden, Spanish, Germany, Holland, America, etc.
The first phase of testing rewards
The first phase of test network Gladios mainly featured in two parts, 10 days each. For having mutual progress, we have distributed 200 ARES/per day of regular rewards for each nodes in the first phase, which amounted to 40.000 ARES. The first node deployment phase will end at 4:00 pm (UTC Time),13th of Dec. The rewards will be distributed to your BSC account after the activity deadline.

Q： Why I couldn’t find nodes on Polkadot Telemetry?
A: There are two possibilities for not finding the nodes on Telemetry, offline or data synchronization error. Offline means the node is not operating normally or is not capable of operating due to its poor hardware environment. Those two factors cause nodes offline. Data synchronization error means the given node’s block-producing amount is not synchronized with other nodes.
Q: Why it’s apt to be offline at night?
A: In the case of computer operation and maintenance, if the computer is idle or turned off at night without using cloud services, disconnection will occur. Under the premise of using a cloud server, you can open a screen session to set up and run the program in the background to solve the offline problem at night.
Q: What is the time cycle of node deployment?
A: The first Phase involves two parts, 10 days in total. Later, it will prolong the node deploy cycle and release test network function-oriented tasks.
Test network nodes plans
In given plans for test network nodes, there will be a formal connection to the test network, deploy price quotation nodes etc. more functions are available for public operation. We are investing more than 400.000 ARES special funds into the full node developing plan(the first phase of node deployment is included).
We would assess the member nodes according to their block producing ratio, successful price quotation ratio, and total price quotation amount to grant-related ARES rewards. The formally connected machine to the price quotation node will be granted relevant tips. In the meantime, the early participants in Ares nodes will be entitled to be members of the parliament and reputation committee.
