Dear Aresians, Ares team is immersed in immense joy from welcoming the issuing of the Ethereum network-based, off-chain signature and VRF configured game with its Greek War-themed features, named Trojan Box after several months of efforts.

The team put decreasing the Gas fee in GameFi as the main concern, meanwhile, the Ethereum network is becoming costly by its high gas fee. Although the Ares mainnet hasn’t been issued yet, the team is still able of creating a GameFi product that benefits the investors without paying high gas fees for Ethereum. The game configured off-chain registration to ensure no gas fee, but profitable game settings for users.

So far, the team has completed several rounds of review and upgrades for the Trojan Box. In regard to achieving quality and user-friendly configurations, the team is now made a beta version for the game to test its security, stability, and efficiency of the game. Thus, the Trojan Box has also pegged rewards in the beta version to the top 50 members in the whitelist who can experiment with the game and submit feedback.

About Trojan Box

Trojan War, in Greek mythology, was a war between the Greeks and the people of Troy. The strife began after the Trojan prince Paris abducted Helen, wife of Menelaus of Sparta. When Menelaus demanded her return, the Trojans refused. Menelaus then persuaded his brother Agamemnon to lead an army against Troy.

Army of Greeks: Ares, Apollo, Zeus, Aphrodite…
Army of Troy: Athena, Hera, Thetis, Hermes…

The Trojan Mystery Box is a Trojan War-themed on-chain game. The game is based on Greek ancient war, which ables you to select different Greek figures to join in the Play to Earn mode. In the whole process, you will discover the epic scenes of Greek mythologies and a new GameFi world.

Game Features

Based on VRF Algorithm
The Trojan Box is a mystery box game based on the VRF algorithm, which is suitable for gamers from diverse age spans and different walks of life. The game introduced Verifiable Random Function, VRF, to support the game settings with a random amount of rewards. It also enables games to prevent malicious attacks, falsified signatures and decrease energy consumption, etc.

Off-chain Signature Without Gas Fee
Due to the high Gas fee and congested networks, the Trojan Box is using an off-chain signature, to integrate authentication and trading into one same trading process, and it used an off-chain signature, and on-chain verified identity. This further enabled a safe environment for the game and created an environment in which no Gas fee was involved.

IPFS Storage
In the Share to earn dashboard, the game used IPFS to save uploaded images. IPFS could satiate the Trojan Box users’ immense demand for sharing, effective, permanent data saving, by saving hash summary on-chain.

We are looking forward to your participation in Beta Version of Trojan Box, a milestone GameFi product of Ares Protocol.
